On the Bench

Good morning everyone!

I'm in the middle of a painting project right now. I know - unbelievable - especially for me. My husband still loves it - not really! Anyway I'm painting with my new fave color - black! Everywhere I go lately black furniture is popping up everywhere! I think it's the new white or the new shabby
chic or something. Anyway here are a few pics of what I've got goin' on!

This is the piece with about 3 coats of primer on it.

After One Coat of Satin Black

I've probably got about two more coats of black paint to go and I'm not sure yet if I'm going to distress this piece. Any thoughts on to distress or not?
